Padraic O'Reilly

Audit Assistant Manager

"I commenced my training in the Audit Department of Russell Brennan Keane's Dublin Office in 2007 and have recently been promoted to the role of Audit Assistant Manager. During my training, I gained valuable experience in all audit areas, including audit risk reviews and Company Law.

Outside of the office, I have a keen interest in sport, and I am currently captain of the Cavan senior football team. There is a great sports and social scene within Russell Brennan Keane, with different events taking place every year ranging from sporting activities to barbeque's."

Maria Gunning

"I joined Russell Brennan Keane on the graduate recruitment programme in July 2008, and I completed my three years training in the Roscommon office where I worked as part of an extremely supportive and encouraging team. The firm provided a very favourable learning environment in which I was able to put into practice my undergraduate learning. Russell Brennan Keane values the whole person and continuously promotes social and academic progression. I am now working as a Supervisor in the Athlone office and I am enjoying the challenge of working with a diverse range of clients. "

Charlene McCrossan

"I joined the Audit and Assurance Department in Russell Brennan Keane in January 2011. During my time with the firm, I have been given the opportunity to work with a varied client base, providing me with a wide range of industry experience, particularly when I am out on Audit. One of the highlights of working in the firm is the emphasis placed on work life balance and social interaction as part of the team based culture. There is a very active Sports & Social Club, with fun events organised throughout the year, providing the opportunity to interact and socialise with colleagues across all levels of the firm."

James Coughlan

"I joined Russell Brennan Keane in July 2008 as a trainee accountant in the SME Accounts Department. I am now fully qualified and have progressed to the responsible role of Client Service Senior which I am thoroughly enjoying.

From early on, I was handed responsibility working with a range of clients including Credit Unions, Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders. The firms open approach and the support and encouragement offered to me from all levels within the firm has certainly played a huge part in both my professional and personal development."

I started out as an ACA graduate with the firm in 2007 and I have continued to develop in my career ever since. For me, qualifying was only the start of my career, the continued support and recognition you get from Russell Brennan Keane is great. Working in Corporate Finance brings many challenges and I undertake a diverse variety of projects for clients, including Independent Business Reviews, Banking issues, Business Valuations and Management Buy Outs, all which help build up my experience on a daily basis whilst also helping me develop a wide range of business skills.
