Huge congratulations to RBK’s Ciarán Gorman who has won the “Westmeath Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award for his company, Becvraft Ltd.
For Ciarán and his colleagues, it has been a long process of workshops and competitive pitching sessions, but has fortunately proven very worthwhile.
David Gleeson, Managing Partner at RBK commented, “We are delighted to see one of our valued team members entrepreneurial spirit shine through and his clear understanding of risk taking has paid off. We wish Ciarán and his company, Bevcraft Ltd every success in the future.”
The next step for Ciarán is on to Regional Finals in January and then hopefully Final Pitch at the Department of Enterprise and awards “at Google” with the Minister.
We wish Ciarán every success in his new venture.
Bevcraft Limited was started by Ciarán Gorman and Darren Fenton in 2016 and provides specialist process and packaging services to the craft beverage sector. The core offering is a complete mobile contract canning service trading as Irish Craft Canning, which in a single day can convert a tank of a given beverage into up to 20,000 branded cans packaged in distributor / consumer ready final packaging. We were one of the very first operators in Europe to launch this type of service.
We have processed over 1m cans over the past 18 months on behalf of over 30 Irish breweries, have grown to 8 staff and are moving to a new 8,000 sq. ft. facility in Mullingar in January. We have recently tripled our capacity and will be launching additional service lines in the coming months. Our cans are available in every single major supermarket (Tesco/Dunnes/Aldi/Lidl/Supervalu) and our customers have now been able to export cost effectively to new emerging markets for Irish exports including locations in South America and Asia.
