They are now seeking a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to join their growing team. This is a key site-based role responsible for ensuring the accurate setting out and surveying of construction works, supporting the successful delivery of projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Site Preparation & Surveying:

· Setting out site boundaries and infrastructure locations

· Levelling and conducting surveying tasks

· Using GPS and total station equipment for accuracy

· Buildings set out and dimension control

· Site Services setting out, including drainage, water-main and electrical / communications systems

· Roads and carparks setting out including reduced level and fill operations

· Hard and Soft landscaping

Health & Safety Monitoring:

· Ensuring safety protocols are followed

· Reporting hazards and maintaining safety logs

Communication & Coordination:

· Liaising with contractors, operators, and other engineers

· Keeping stakeholders informed of site progress

· Resolving technical issues collaboratively

Documentation & Reporting:

· Maintaining a logbook of site activities

· Ensuring deadlines are met and communicated

· Preparation of as built drawings and records in CAD & PDF format

Core Skills/ Attributes

· Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction methods

· Experience with infrastructure, buildings, and site services (drainage, roads, utilities)

· Competent in CAD for preparing and reviewing as-built drawings

· Practical mindset with the ability to adapt to changing site conditions

· Proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions

· Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
