The Role

Reporting to the HR Director and working as part of a collaborative HR team, the HR Generalist will play a strong role in supporting various HR initiatives and functions that align with the Firms People first principles and will actively support the team in the delivery of the Firms HR Strategic plan.

Key aspects of the role will include:

  • Supporting in the delivery of the Firms Performance Management Program and continuing to enhance and develop the Firms ongoing feedback and coaching culture, enabling employees to develop to be their best.
  • Assistance with talent planning initiatives, campaigns and staff resourcing across all levels.
  • Supporting the Graduate Recruitment function with annual recruitment campaigns.
  • Coordinating effective onboarding and offboarding programs.
  • Supporting the Learning and Development function as required.
  • Continuous development and implementation of effective HR policies and procedures, ensuring the Firm is fully compliant with employment legislation and key policies are clearly communicated to all employees.
  • Collaborate with HoDs and their Teams to understand their HR needs to support their teams objectives.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Partners, Managers and staff, providing advice as necessary on various HR and employee related matters.
  • Presenting HR updates and reports and delivering training on various HR initiatives as required.
  • Establish a regular presence in the Firms office locations.
  • Administering pay & benefits, conducting regular pay benchmarking and reporting.
  • Gathering and analysing key HR data using HR KPI metrics and tools.
  • Development and implementation of efficient HR systems and processes to optimise efficient HR information flow.
  • Enhancing employee engagement activities and wellbeing plans and initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar HR role. Experience working within a professional services environment would be an advantage.
  • Human Resources CIPD qualification or similar desirable.
  • Ability to manage and deliver full employee lifecycle HR solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at any one time.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently across all levels.
  • Strong People / Relationship Management skills.
  • Proactive in approach, a team player, flexible and reliable as part of role.
