Customer Support Administrator
Our client is a leading global organisation operating within the industrial automation, electrical connectivity and technology solutions sector, with an established presence in Ireland and a strong international customer base.
They are currently seeking a Customer Support Administrator (Junior) to join their busy Sales Office team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced customer service and sales administration environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting customers throughout the order process, from receipt of the initial order through to delivery, while also providing general administrative support to the Sales Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately process incoming customer orders.
- Assist with expediting customer orders and resolving supply chain queries from source through to delivery.
- Issue customer order acknowledgements and provide accurate delivery information.
- Keep customers regularly informed of current order status and any changes to expected delivery dates.
- Provide proof of delivery documentation and information to customers when required.
- Handle telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Provide general administrative and organisational support to the Sales Office.
- Liaise with relevant internal teams and external contacts to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Assist with resolving order, delivery and customer service queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure a high level of attention to detail across all administrative tasks.
- Carry out other administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales administration, order processing or office administration environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven business environment.
- Strong telephone and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office packages.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Baan or similar would be advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience of CRM systems is desirable.
- Experience with databases and/or VBA would be an advantage.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
