Mike is an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (FCA).

Mike has over 20 years experience in tax, specialising in corporate tax, with a broad range of expertise in advising owner managed businesses to large corporates across a number of sectors.

Prior to joining RBK, Mike trained with Deloitte Dublin, held a number of management roles in accounting practices in Waterford and most recently was head of training and technical support for TaxAssist Ireland where he also spent 2 years in the position of Interim/Acting Managing Director.

Mike is a regular speaker at RBK client events and provides budgetary analysis at our annual Budget Briefing.

The Finance Bill 2025, published on 10 October 2025, gives legislative effect to the measures announced in Budget 2026 and introduces a series of refinements across Ireland’s tax system.
