It is an exciting time to be an RBK trainee working in Dublin. The office has grown rapidly in recent years and there is a real sense of excitement and buzz starting to build within the offices. This positivity and enthusiasm can be seen from the top down and it makes it easier to come to work every day. You really get the sense amongst everyone that something special is happening in RBK and from a personal perspective; it is exciting to be part of it.
Working within the insolvency and restructuring department I have gained hands on experience working across multiple assignments. There is a great variety concerning the different aspects of services I assist with on a weekly basis, as well as the varied locations throughout Ireland which my work may take me. There is a great deal of support, knowledge and advice available from both partners and senior management, which is invaluable to any trainee.
The atmosphere in the office is great. From the moment we walk into work to the moment we leave, there is an encouraging and positive atmosphere within the office. Teamwork is at the core of what we do and there is always a helping hand there if you cannot seem to figure something out on your own.
It has been an extremely enjoyable introduction to life as an RBK trainee. Having grown up in Ireland through the recession it is particularly refreshing that I am beginning my career in a company with such drive and ambition for the future.
