RBK Welcomes Winner of 2019 Scholarship Programme

RBK is pleased to welcome Nashir Ishola from Athlone Community College, who won the 2019 RBK Bursary Prize towards his chosen third level education together with a 9-week internship with RBK.

The initiative was launched at the firms 60th Anniversary in November 2018 as part of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Programme and was open to all leaving cert students.

Commenting on the Bursary Prize, David Gleeson, Managing Partner at RBK said, “While we are Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, our role in the community is broader than that, and as one of our core values we focus on ensuring that we give back to the community as much as we can by supporting education and community initiatives.

“In particular, as a training firm, we place a strong emphasis on educating staff and trainees and recruiting the best and brightest people. We also have invested heavily in the latest technology, firstly to ensure an efficient and cost effective service, and secondly to support our staff achieve a better work / life balance. This scholarship programme is part of our focus on supporting further education and developing upcoming talent.”
