Patrick Keegan

Wealth Management Director

Patrick is a Certified Financial Planner™, has an MSc in Financial Services, is a Specialist Investment Advisor, a Retirement Planning Advisor and a Qualified Financial Advisor. Patrick’s aim is to help ensure our customers are financially independent.

Patrick’s areas of expertise include helping our customers plan for their retirement, the efficient drawdown and regular review of their pensions, ensuring their protection needs are met and that their investment strategies are appropriate. He advises high net worth individuals on their retirement planning, wealth protection, estate and succession planning strategies, and business cash extraction opportunities.

Patrick also specialises in providing advice to corporate clients on the design of pension and risk scheme structures, corporate investments, business protection and shareholder succession planning.

This report summarises the findings of a survey of credit unions conducted in February/March 2025. It reflects responses from 57 credit unions and financial data from 81 published annual reports. This represents €12.32b or 57.3% of the total asset size of the credit union movement in the State. (The sector asset size was approximately €21.5b across 183 Credit Unions at 30 September 2024). The credit unions included in our research range in size from €17m to €580m and represent a mix of both community and industrial credit unions. Prior year data has been updated to reflect additional information that became available after our 2024 Credit Union Benchmarking Report was published.
